Pictured are Liam Carew and Shane O’Connor, winners of the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) 2023. Liam and Shane took home the second place prize at the European Union Contest for Young Scientists in Brussels where they represented Ireland, competing against 136 young scientists from 36 countries, including EU member states and the USA, Canada and South Korea, with their project titled ’’Assessing the impact of second level education on key aspects of adolescents’ life and development”.
