Travelling to the RDS via public transport
By Train: Sandymount Station is the nearest station to the RDS which is a short walk from the Exhibition Centre. From Connolly Station you can connect directly to the DART and travel to Sandymount Station. From Heuston Station, you can connect to the LUAS and transfer to the DART at Connolly Station to Sandymount Station.

By Bus: The RDS is served by bus route numbers 4, 7, 8 and 18 which all stop outside the Main Hall Entrance to the RDS on the Merrion Road. These bus services can be availed from the City Centre. Routes 46A and 145 are within walking distance of the RDS. Route 145 departs from Heuston Station.
